Travelers in Hawaii should be aware that the Honolulu Star Advertiser is reporting that two back-to-back hurricanes are headed towards the Big Island, set to arrive as early as Thursday morning. Maui and Oahu are braced for a heaping tropical storm, while the other islands are gearing up for bracing wind and rain.
Travelers to and from the islands should check local reports as flash flood warnings, harsh winds, big surf and heavy rain are forecasted. Stay up to date with travel advisories.
PS: In other news, fares to Hawaii are about as low as they come for late summer travel. I’ve seen fares under $400 from the west coat. Just sayin….
